About Us

Volunteer Now, or VON, is a group of students at SATEC@ W.A Porter Collegiate Institute who work together to promote volunteerism throughout the school and spread social awareness about issues relating to education, poverty and hunger, that are persistent in the world both locally and globally.

We also provide a week for students to learn about volunteering opportunities around the local community, so that they too can be a part of the change. To impact our community and world in a positive manner and make a difference by holding various events to raise money and awareness to help those in need.

VON believes that anyone can be change maker. Remember, the change starts with you!
